Frequently asked questions
Everything you want to know.
Answers to the most common questions about the LumixUltra headset.
How much does the headset weigh? Is it really the lightest on the market?+
Yes, it is designed to be the lightest headset available. The reduced weight and absolute ergonomics allow you to wear it for many hours a day without fatigue, keeping a correct and natural posture.
How does the light work? Why are there no shadows?+
Thanks to the dual converging LED beam, you get uniform, shadow-free illumination of the operating field (scialytic effect). Intensity is adjustable and it can be paired with magnifying lenses. Perfect for high-precision work even in hard-to-light areas.
What's the return and warranty policy?+
We are so confident about the quality and comfort of our headset that we offer a Satisfied or Refunded formula. Try it in your practice for the agreed period: if you're not fully convinced, we refund the full amount (per the stated terms). We also offer official product warranty.
Which magnifications are included?+
The box includes a 1.5x lens + your choice between 2.5x or 3.5x (the other magnification can be purchased separately). Lenses are high-quality and guaranteed.
Can I use the headset while wearing my prescription glasses?+
Absolutely. It's one of the most appreciated advantages: the design lets you comfortably wear your prescription glasses without interference. Many professionals find this essential.
Is it comfortable for many hours?+
Comfort is one of the main strengths. Thanks to the low weight, ergonomic padding and perfect fit, many professionals wear it for long procedures without pressure or discomfort.
Is it suitable for those moving between multiple practices or clinics?+
Perfectly. The included shock-proof case is designed to protect the headset during travel, transfers or work across multiple locations.
Are the orange filters useful only for dentists?+
Yes, orange filters are particularly indicated for dentists because they filter the wavelengths that prematurely activate composite materials. They can still be useful in other fields where certain materials must be shielded from light.
How is the light adjusted?+
The light is fully dimmable (continuous intensity control). You can adapt it perfectly to your needs at any moment during the procedure.
Does the headset require special maintenance?+
Maintenance is minimal. Batteries are replaceable and rechargeable, lenses clean easily. The robust design and shock-proof case ensure long life.
Can it be autoclave-sterilized?+
Yes, all components in contact with the patient are made of materials compatible with steam and autoclave sterilization according to standard clinical protocols.
How long do the batteries last during a real shift?+
Each battery lasts up to 6 hours of continuous use. With the two included batteries you get 12 total hours: enough for two full shifts. USB-C charging takes just 90 minutes.
